Robocon 2022
As part of Team IIT Ropar, we participated in Robocon 2022, showcasing two custom-built robots, R1 and R2, designed to tackle dynamic challenges collaboratively.
- R1 Bot:
- Equipped with mecanum wheels for omnidirectional movement.
- Featured a ball-shooting mechanism using a camera-based target detection system.
- R2 Bot:
- Integrated a gantry system for lifting and stacking objects.
- Designed to collect and pass balls to R1 using servo-controlled clamps.
Our team successfully cleared Round 1 with exceptional performance. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we couldn’t proceed to Round 2. Despite the setback, the experience was invaluable, pushing us to innovate and work as a cohesive unit.
